Captiol 10 Miler Training Team
The Capitol 10 Miler is sponsored by ACAC Fitness & Wellness this year. The race takes place on Saturday, October 2 and ACAC is hosting the offical training team. If you ran the Monument Ave. 10K, this is a great next step. Let us help get you ready!

ACAC Running Club
Are you a runner? Need motivation or a running partner? Like most things, there’s strength in numbers! This program will include group pairings based on your level, custom made routes, speed and distance workouts, as well as interval and core training. We will keep you up-to-date on all of the local races, big events and also great information on key topics such as stretching, equipment, and injury prevention. Don't miss out on becoming part of ACAC's up and coming, rapidly growing, running community.

Includes: gait assessment, injury prevention, flexibility, balance, safety tips, proper shoes/shoe life, nutrition session with ACAC’s Nutritionist and a sample 5k run

Triathlon Academy
Triathlons are a great opportunity to test your limits and maximize your fitness.  Make the most of your experience by fine-tuning some the details in ACAC's Triathlon Academy.  Each 3-hour workshop will focus on different facets of the triathlon, giving you professional guidance as well as hands-on experience before the big day.

Triathlon Training
"Tri" something new! Are you interested in the Richmond Sprint Triathlon held at ACAC? This is a great first "tri" due to the shorter distances. Join the ACAC triathlon training team and we'll help get you prepared! This program offers a group training once a week and provides you with a schedule for your daily training. A transition clinic will also be included to get you ready for race day! (Race is October 10.)

Power Pack "Fabulous Over 40!"
Gals, are your hormones driving you crazy? Are your workouts just not cutting it anymore? Does your weight seem out of control? This Power Pack is just for YOU! We'll help you understand everything that's going on in your body during your 40's and 50's, and how critical healthy nutrition and exercise are to keep you balanced... on many levels. Includes two one-hour nutrition sessions and two one-hour personal training sessions. Small group discounts available.

Resolutions
This 8-week program is designed to get you back on track with your fitness goals. Meet with your Resolutions coach for goal setting and equipment orientation in week one, then check-in with your coach each week thereafter. Non-members have use of the indoor fitness facility during the program.

Master Swimming
Ages 18 and up
This is geared for former swimmers, future triathletes and beginners. Increase your cardiovascular endurance and swimming technique with the help of an ACAC team of master coaches. We offer practices in the mornings, evenings and on the weekends. Please call Bryan Creech at 378-1600 for more details.

Healthy Horizons
ACAC's Healthy Horizons wellness program is for ACAC members, ages 60 and better, who want to get the most out of their ACAC memberships. This program is free for masters members and includes light fare lunch. Look for upcoming program descriptions in the wellness kiosk.

Power Pack
Combine the best of both worlds! Personal training and nutrition education are paired to optimize your fitness goals. This program consists of two one-hour nutrition consults and two one-hour personal training sessions.

Men's Adult Basketball League
Get on the ball this year and join ACAC's Men's Adult Basketball League. Don't have a team? Not to wory! ACAC will assist in pairing you up with a team. A minimum of four players per team required.
17 & up: Season starts May 19

Ballroom Dancing
ACAC, in partnership with instructor and professional dancer, Ron Marchal, brings ballroom dance classes to ACAC. Learn the Cha Cha, Salsa, Tango, Rumba, Waltz, Swing and more! Be the envy of others on the floor and dance your way to a fitter you! Individuals and couples welcome. We’ll pair you up. Classes are 1 hour in length. Non-marking, soft sole shoes required in studios.

Iron Tennis
This program offers interval training using weights and cardiovascular drills, core strengthening and flexibility improvement to get you in the best tennis shape of your life. Choose to join the class on the days and times that suit your schedule. Come in with your team or bring a friend!
