
ACAC offers a variety of mind~body classes free to all members. Each class connects mind and body in its own way to give you a workout like no other.
Beginner Yoga
A class for the new participant and those who would like to have a little refresher course in yoga.
Gentle Yoga
A slower-paced Hatha yoga class that focuses on breath awareness, increasing flexibility, improving balance and gaining strength.
Hatha Yoga I & II
A blend of various yoga styles to give you a balanced practice. Sometimes traditional chanting, breath work and meditation are introduced before and/or after the physical practice.
Integral Yoga
A slower-paced, gentler practice of yoga that will relax and center you. Integral gently guides you through a series of yoga postures.
Kids Yoga
A safe, fun introduction to yoga for kids ages 5 & up. Kids learn age-appropriate postures, movement and relaxation practices that build strength, balance and flexibility for mind, body and soul.
Nia®
An energizing, fun and funky workout that is perfect for all fitness levels. NIA increases flexibility, strength, agility, balance and coordination.
Move the Qi
Learn to improve and move your Qi ("chi"). This class includes basic energy movements, T'ai Chi, Chi Gong, and other life energy postures and motions that will enhance balance, posture, strength, and flexibility.
Mat Pilates
A series of exercises designed to strengthen the muscles of the core (abdominals, back and buttocks) to strengthen and align the spine. Pilates exercises use breathing and specific positioning to develop both strength and flexibility.
Power Yoga
A 75 minute advanced, higher intensity Vinyasa yoga. Postures focus on core strength, arm balancing and inversions. More advanced breathing techniques are also included.
Vinyasa Yoga I & II
A more vigorous, flowing style yoga, that sequences breath with movement.
Yogilates
Combines a series of yoga postures with Pilates based exercises.
